Gina M. Wicik’s legal career is built upon a solid foundation of comprehensive education spanning undergraduate, graduate, and law school levels. Her academic journey began at St. Johns University in Queens, New York, where she received her bachelors degree in 2007. This undergraduate education provided her with the critical thinking skills and analytical foundation necessary for success in the legal profession.
Recognizing the importance of specialized knowledge in criminal justice, Wicik pursued advanced graduate study, earning her Masters Degree in Criminal Justice from Long Island University at CW Post Campus in 2011. This specialized education provided her with deep insights into the criminal justice system, including law enforcement procedures, court processes, and the social and legal factors that influence criminal cases.
Her legal education culminated with earning her Juris Doctor (J.D.) from Touro Law Center in Central Islip, New York in 2015. As Gina M. Experience
Previous to practicing law, Gina M. Wicik, worked as a certified paralegal at both a Personal Injury and Criminal Defense firm. It was here she discovered her passion for law and helping people.
While in law school school Gina began to find her footing in the criminal courts. First, as an intern with both the Nassau and Suffolk County District Attorney’s Offices. Then, as an intern under an acting Supreme Court Justice, where she was able to participate in the start of The Suffolk County Youth Felony Part.
Gina M Wicik began her career as an attorney practicing as an associate attorney at a well known NYC traffic violations firm. While working as an associate, Gina appeared daily in the NYC traffic courts. She also appeared in criminal courts throughout New York State. As a result of this previous experience,Gina established a practical knowledge of these courts and of handling Criminal defense, DWI and Traffic Violation Cases throughout New York and New Jersey. She then went on to open The Law Office of Gina M. Wicik, P.C. because she believes every client is entitle to powerful and affordable defense.
